Warm Up

After decades of additions, this long, narrow two-story home had a dark, compartmentalized first floor. While previous plans called for a fully open layout, our clients wanted a solution with more purpose and structure. By retaining one side of the existing back-to-back fireplace as an anchor, we created distinct zones—a TV lounge and a dining/game room—connected by an open kitchen. Taller French doors to the patio increase natural light, while European walnut flooring, light cabinetry, and furnishings in navy, taupe, and brown create a warm, inviting palette.
